between prince paul (de la soul producer) tuna fish (jurassic 5)
lady bug (digable planets) and scratch (from the roots)
you can't even believe the talent on this record.
granted the material is a little fluffy, although i found it refreshing.

just a reminder of how dorky i really am

meez is a site that allows you to create an avatar for yourself
go on...let your inner-dork shine
i was telling someone about fabrichorse the other night at wesley's
and i thought i would put a link out here.
they're  based in philly and reuse seat belts from junk yards to make these awesome
"bike hipster fanny packs", spats, and other strange accoutrements.
i like them and i think you will too.

i also found this site of various interests called animal
lots of cool stuff... checkit!!!11!

and finally
this is a little niche called steampunk
actual steam powered computers and such
but being a mac elitist i was blown away by this

this pretty much sums up my life at this point

i wouldn't go so far as to say "the cell phone is the cause for the nation's erosion"
that was the combustible engine, but i did wriggle out of getting one for quite awhile.

old skool mondays

the xmen were a group of riders/messengers in new york
they grab cars (skitching) wear hockey equipment (lame)
and cause havoc in the streets (awesome)

double rush was a short lived series on cbs about messengers
it will remind you of fads you thought you forgot about

and while were at it, quicksilver was a movie in which kevin bacon looses everything on wall st. and becomes a messenger in n.y.      this is an awesome seen where he races morpheus (laurence fishburne)   here is a cheesy scene with kevin doing some tricks, and here is the legendary "bike dance" scene

the one bike is a collapsable bike that blows your mind

this bike records all the data from your ride...
you get home, plug it into your computer,
and see how much money you wasted buying this thing

the zero bike works using magnets
this is just weird

koga and spyker created this thing
only 50 made
14 speed internal hub!
someone should have told them
 thats 13 speeds too many

it is a robot that is so advanced you can kick it!!!
just like a real dog!!!
(kidding...)

one step closer to getting my tron bike
the monotracer looks super sweet

the hot bike of the day is dick cheney's new ride
these are my new bike shoes with my pedals shown also..

i just saw these, and don't know what to think...
for those who don't know about the clipless revolution,
that panel comes off on the sole of the shoe, and a clip that connects to your pedal
is in there.

now for some bike shit...

these are pictures of my bike(s)

my nishiki when it was pulled out of a dumpster that fateful day
after some modifications

my old fuji...sexual intercourse

for those of you who don't know me...
i am quite obsessed with the fixed gear bicycle
it's been around for over a century, and is just now catching on
as a cheap, reliable, "hip" way to get around car clogger urban settings.

i will try to keep you updated on the new shit,
but i get my best stuff from a handfull of great sites...
such as...
trackosaurusrex
and...
thats all for now... i can't give away all my secrets

a few questions to start us out?

why?...

did we tear down the sports arena without a new one built?

won't we allow a casino downtown?

are there no bike lanes?

are the suburbs trying to eliminate public transportation?

instead of attempting C.P.R. on downtown, attention is shifting to "Consumerist Mayberry"
i.e. Fallen Timbers, and Levis Commons?
