bikes are the new bombs
apparently n.y. police are clipping bike locks around the u.s. open stadium
in fear of a terrorist attack by stuffing plastic explosives into bike tubes.

he rides in circles, he rides on rollers...

they used to shoot the original king kong

i've seen the greatest minds of my generation destroyed by consumerism and the need to fit in
adbusters has a special place in my heart.
at times self serving, other times truly life changing.
in the new adbusters there is a tirade brought down on the tragically hip.
i am a hipster by no means.
i have seen too many fads go by, from neon to too tight, from skidz to pegged pants.
now were back to neon and too tight.
all the while i've kept my jeans and logoless t-shirt uniform,
maybe the occasional button-up.
but adbusters has on occasion tended to come off a little preachy, and this article may be too much.
i don't believe that anyone who's concerned more about what they are wearing and how they are perceived is a threat to adbusters' niche.
they attempt to come off as trying to wake us from our mindless consumerist slumber,
but you will never change minds by degrading and ostracizing the people you hope to help.
they are confusing fads of young fuck-ups with the non-participation epidemic that is sweeping the world. just like an old man sitting on his porch watching greasers ride by in the fifties.
there has always been disdain for how the youth waist what the older generations have fought for, and this is no different.
